Improved gas mileage 1-2 mpg
Received K&N air filter for '08 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4x4. After replacing original equipment air filter went on a 1K mile trip and recorded slight improvement in performance and 1-2+ mpg increase. Best 'low dollar' aftermarket purchase yet on the Jeep! I've got K&N air filters on all of my vehicles. Amazon.com was, as usual, the best place to purchase.
Great filter = better mileage
This is a great way to increase your MPG at a reasonable price. Have got about 1MPG improvement on my JK Rubicon with this. It is far better return on investment than a full cold air intake install.
Just remember to tell your mechanic/dealer to *not* replace this when you are due for air replacement during a scheduled maintenance service.

This item was as described and works well. I felt a definate gain in response and also gained 1 MPG. With no other alteration, I don't think that's too bad.
