To satisfy the demands of racers, our oil filter has many features over and above the requirements of most vehicles. We use thicker canister walls for extra strength and durability which reduces the risk of damage from loose rocks and debris. The heavy-duty construction will withstand higher oil pressures found only in racing environments without bursting. The drilled hole on the nut is for a safety wire attachment. I am following my mechanics advice on this one,I already own the air filter for my Kia Optima that he recomended for me to istall in the car
and I did notice a diffence right away,as for the oil filter I do not know
because my car is not due for an oil change yet,but I am sure that it will
protect my engine better than the rest out there,if it is K&N it's good stuff!

k&n oil filter
I've used k&n air filters for years - so why not try their oil filters? They work wonderully. I drive a 2000 Honda Prelude SH and the oil filter is located on the back of the engine in such a position that the oil in the filter drips all down the back of the engine block upon removal with normal filters - not with the k&n!! Only a few drops now drip down, what a difference.

GREAT FILTER
I DRIVE A 2004 HYUNDAI XG350L AND USING THE FILTER GIVES ME A BETTER GAS MILEAGE.
