Results you can take to the Bank...

Bought this unit after researching all the rest.Recently swapped out my engine and went with this intake while I was at it.The Banks system gives your 3.8 a nice throaty aggressive sound upon hard acceleration and remains remarkably understated while under normal cruising conditions. I have noticed an increase in " rolling power" ( acceleration and torque while already in motion).The Jeep JK 3.8l is a fly by wire electronic response throttle design. I believe the lack of " off the line" power is directly attributed to this design. Aesthetically the Banks unit fits the engine bay like an enhanced factory design.If Chrysler had an SRT-6 version of the JK I imagine it looking like this. Get this one if your serious about getting the best intake for your Jeep JK.

My mileage went up a few MPG with this and the banks exhaust installed. I was actually surprised to see it went up at all. It sounds better, and feels better on the highway. I can't really quantify the performance increase, It might not even be there, but it feels like it is. It's not loud enough to drone on long trips, but is throaty and deep on acceleration. I would buy it again.
